Steps that Count is the American Kidney Fund's fundraising and awareness walk. It is a non-competitive and non-timed event, so anyone may participate. The walk route is 4 scenic miles along the Georgetown Waterfront. 

There are several ways to participate:

Register as an individual. You may choose to join a team later.

Join a team that you know of, or search for one. 

Be a team captain and create your own team! You can have family and friends join your team to raise funds for the walk.
