Giving families strength: Melissia and Isaiah

Melissia tries to protect her 6-year-old son Isaiah from the toll that her kidney disease takes on her. But sometimes she’s just too tired to push through. On one of those days, Isaiah told her, “When I get to be a big man, I want to become a doctor so I can make you well.” Your generosity allows AKF to be there for people like Melissia and Isaiah in their time of need.
