Together, we are making progress: Providing financial assistance to dialysis patients in need. Increasing awareness of this silent killer. And reaching into communities to help people at risk prevent kidney disease.

Spotlight on Health: Kidney-friendly diet for CKD

nutrition label

If you have chronic kidney disease (CKD), a kidney-friendly diet limits certain minerals in the foods you eat.  This helps keep waste from building up in your blood and may help prevent other health problems. Learn more about what foods can be part of a meal plan for CKD and which you should avoid or limit.

See the power of your support

Impact ReportIn the first half of this year, we helped more than 70,000 dialysis patients pay their health insurance premiums, get transportation to treatment and receive desperately needed medications. We couldn’t do it without your support! Check out this snapshot of our accomplishments for the first half of 2015.

To support people in this difficult situation, the Social Security Administration (SSA) offers disability benefits as a financial resource. Our friends at Social Security Disability Help have information you can use!
